What age is the hut building village for?
The Hut Building Village is for children aged 6 to 12 from Soest and Soesterberg.
Where does the hut building village take place?
The Hut Building Village is organized at Shelter 611 at Park Vliegbasis Soesterberg. For navigation, you can enter Elandlaan, Den Dolder.
Can my child take the bus?
Yes. For children from Soest who cannot be dropped off, a bus runs every day from De Plantage to the Hut Building Village and back. The bus departs at 09.15.

Can my child bring paint?
No, you don't need to bring paint. We'll provide it.
Does my child need to bring their own food and drinks?
No. During the Hut Building Village, all children receive lunch, drinks, fruit and a treat. There is no need to bring your own food and drinks.
Can my child bring a phone?
We ask children to leave their phones at home as much as possible.
What is this year's theme?
The theme of 2026 is Theme Park. Each group builds a hut that is transformed into their own attraction, such as a roller coaster, haunted house, or funhouse
Can parents come to watch?
Yes! On Thursday, parents are warmly welcome to admire the huts and attractions.

Yes. During the Hut Building Village, there are volunteers and staff present who supervise and guide the children during building and activities.
